starbucks

 

went into starbucks for a quick cup of tea with my girlfriend when we noticed a new poster for this -- the new strawberries and cream frappe. we decided to get one to share and it was delicious! really nice and fresh, probably my favourite flavor yet.

everytime i go into a starbucks i quickly look at the merchandise section when i stumbled across these.

 it's a frappe hard cup - made of thick plastic to keep the drink cold inside. was very close to buying one but £10 price tag.. maybe another day!

but while in starbucks i really liked the direction they're going in with the design/marketing posters etc.

studio ghibli storyboard books

went into forbidden planet (comic book store) in southampton the other day - where i spotted these in the corner at the sale section.

i haven't seen these before, they had four in total each at £29.99 - my neighbors the yamadas, little norse prince, only yesterday, and i forget the last one .. :/

rear - it was only when i saw the ghibli logo i realized and opened the box. 

  this is the actual book - the two above pictures are a hard box the book fits in.. 

the book is like this inside, start to finish storyboards of the movie all in original japanese. i also found that within each book there was little pieces of paper with notes scribbled down on them, book marks etc - which were really cool too! i assume they have books for all the ghibli movies?

i would of purchased one but they were a little too expensive for me at the time.. maybe next time! but they would make a great gift for a fan of the studio.

starbucks christmas

when people see the famous "coca cola" advert they say thats when christmas is beginning, i'm the same but when starbucks starts putting our their holiday products.

i really like starbucks christmas products, and hopefully santa will bring me a mug or two! :)
